Why browsing on a non-secured Wi-Fi network is risky?

Today the internet is making a loud noise everywhere as more people are using it continually in their daily lives. Whenever a user visits a website the website owner gets benefited either by selling a product or service on it to the buyer or simply by making a user aware of their website or business. But when you as a user visit a website on an unsecured public Wi-Fi network he is at possible risk.

Today most public Wi-Fi providers are providing secure networks to users but many also don’t provide secured networks. Every user that is connected to a wireless network who visit a website and browses different pages on it is at risk. A user that purchases merchandise on a website is required to provide his confidential details like credit or debit card numbers and security passwords at the highest risk.

In any case, if a user provides such information on an unsecured public Wi-Fi network the hackers can easily copy his details and may misuse them causing him a huge financial loss. Hackers and intruders can easily steal a user’s confidential data and use it for forgery or any other unauthorized transactions.

Even if a user doesn’t perform any financial transaction on the site still it could harm him since the unsecured networks can send cookies and malware with the malicious program to a user's device that could steal the user's private data from his device. Many hackers often create malware and viruses to spread them over a local area network, and to get into the device which is connected to a Wi-Fi network and steal its information.
